About our energy consumer surveys
Our energy consumer surveys inform our analysis and advocacy on key energy issues for Australian households and small businesses. They aim to understand consumers' priorities, needs, attitudes towards and engagement with the energy system.
We conduct the following surveys:
- Small Business Energy Consumer Survey (annually) - a national qualitative survey of Australian small businesses, conducted annually and independently by 89 Degrees East for Energy Consumers Australia
- Consumer Energy Report Card (biannually) - a nationally representative survey conducted for us six-monthly by SEC Newgate
We also make topline data (anonymised) available to anyone interested in energy consumer policy, which you can download below. Survey methodology is published here.
