Energy Consumers Australia’s grants and scholarships support initiatives that strengthen the voice of energy consumers and drive positive change in Australia’s energy system. Through funding for advocacy, research, collaboration and professional development, we help ensure that consumer perspectives inform policy, regulation, and industry practice — leading to fairer, more affordable, and more sustainable outcomes for households and small businesses.

Influence Grants

Influence Grants support advocacy initiatives that aim to achieve immediate influence on a specific, well-defined goal. These grants are designed to help organisations or individuals drive targeted policy, regulatory, or market changes that will deliver measurable benefits for energy consumers.

Collaboration Grants

Collaboration Grants support complex, multi-year projects that aim to drive systemic change in Australia’s energy system. These projects are typically collaborative research or co-design initiatives that generate new insights and solutions. The intent is to inform and strengthen policy, advocacy, and decision-making that benefits energy consumers.
