This letter outlines Energy Consumers Australia’s support for Evoenergy (formerly ActewAGL, the electricity distribution network for the ACT and Queanbeyan) proposal for the remaking of their 2014-19 revenue determination. The AER is required to remake that determination, following decisions in the Australian Competition Tribunal and Full federal Court.

Our view is that a revenue increase of $26 million represents acceptable compensation for the restructuring costs incurred to achieve more efficient staffing levels, as well as smaller revenue increases in other areas.
