On 29 June, 2017, the Hon. Don Harwin MLC, NSW Minister for Energy and Utilities, addressed the Committee for the Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) on “Securing a reliable and responsive energy market”.

The speech is highly insightful on the current energy challenges and opportunities in NSW and the National Energy Market. Minister Harwin also speaks at length about the NSW Government’s views and intentions regarding the energy transition, as well as the need to provide policy certainty to investors in all generation technologies.
