Board Stakeholder Forum 2019: Adelaide

The Board Stakeholder Forum provides an opportunity for the Board to meet South Australian consumer advocates, Government officials and industry leaders to discuss the interests of households and small businesses in the energy sector.

The theme of Adelaide’s 2019 forum was “Bridging the gap – technology, innovation and consumers.” The audience heard insights about the life journey of energy users, South Australia’s Virtual Power Plant trial and standards for new energy technology.

Chair of the Board Louise Sylvan AM opened the session which was followed by framing statements from Rosemary Sinclair AM and Chris Alexander. Chris Alexander then lead an immersive panel discussion about the most innovative projects in South Australia. Panelists were;

  • Dr Stephen Berry, Research Fellow, Renewable Energy and Decarbonisation, University of South Australia
  • Craig Walker, Senior Policy Officer, Energy and Technical Regulation, Department for Energy and Mining (SA)
  • Jelena Dodic, Principal Consultant and Head of Research, Forethought
  • Scott Oster, Director of Projects, Clean Energy Transition

Below you will find audio of the entire panel discussion and audience Q&A. Video highlights of the session are also available.
