The Energy Queensland Our Draft Plans 2020-25 represents the first milestone in the revenue determination process, as it seeks to gather stakeholder feedback to inform its revenue proposal to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER).
The long-term interests of consumers are served when current and future consumers pay no more than they need for the quality of service they require.
Affordability is a key concern in Queensland and we are looking to Energy Queensland to set out its long-term strategy for reducing network costs. We are seeking more information on how Energy Queensland will continue to place downward pressure on its Regulated Asset Base (RAB); increase capacity utilisation of the network; and actively seek savings from network transformation activities that will be passed on to Queensland consumers.
