Our submission to the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC)’s Electricity Network Regulation Review addresses questions about whether regulatory processes are efficient and support positive consumer outcomes, how the framework can best support efficient service delivery, and whether it provides for appropriate risk allocation and compensation.
We call on the AEMC to prioritise ambitious reforms that demonstrably rectify the balance within the existing network regulatory framework and prioritise long-term, cost-efficient and resilient investments.
Our submission and accompanying report (PDF, 1.17MB) highlight how future network regulation can be re-balanced, allowing investments to be right-sized and consumer voices to shape network proposals.
