Using smart meters smarter – understanding real-world deployment

Project summary

Smart meters provide opportunities to change how we pay for and understand our energy use. This project will assess whether households are sufficiently informed when making decisions, e.g. choosing between fixed and time varying pricing; and who may benefit and who may be worse off with time varying pricing.
