Project summary

1MW ShePowers is building a network of regional and rural women: to empower and resource to advocate for a fair, accessible, affordable energy transition ensuring there are genuine pathways for their communities to prosper. A key component is coordinating 100’s of gatherings of women in their local communities to shape a national narrative on Australia’s renewable energy and clean economy transition. Through specific questions we will capture the insights of women and the opportunities/challenges their communities face in the energy transition. We will collate this data into our ‘research and policy report’ to be shared with state and federal governments.
