Project summary
Balancing Act poses the question: in the midst of a gas transition, is it better to continue to spend money on gas network infrastructure, or should we divert some funds to help households electrify? This grant extends Balancing Act by commissioning a distributional analysis, which will help answer questions about who would benefit and pay. This will enable BSL to make better policy recommendations to guide an equitable, efficient gas transition that does not leave low-income households behind.
