Given the whole sector’s adaptation to the current working environment, Energy Consumers Australia wishes to update our stakeholders on staff arrangements and appointments as we move into the second half of the year.
Firstly, Chris Alexander, Director Advocacy and Communications, is on paternity leave until 10 August. We congratulate Chris and his entire family during this exciting time. In Chris’ absence, Jacqueline Crawshaw is Acting Director Advocacy and Communications. The best way to get in touch with Jacqueline is via email. Ciara Lyons, our Communications and Stakeholder Manager can be contacted via email here, while Tim O’Halloran is the contact for all media requests.
Kerry Connors continues in the position of Acting Director, Research while Lynne Gallagher is interim CEO. Kerry is best contacted via email. Elizabeth Lawler also continues in the position of Acting Director, Operations and can be contacted via email here.
We are delighted to welcome Allan Forbes to the Energy Consumers Australia team. Allan will be joining us as Grants Review Manager from Tuesday 21 July. We are looking forward to seeing how his expertise builds on all the good work being done in this sector of our organisation.
Finally, we would also like to welcome Carmel Franklin as the most recent addition to our Reference Committee. A fantastic appointment, she has been involved with consumer issues for many years, focusing on fair outcomes for all consumers, particularly those who are disadvantaged. We would also like to thank the outgoing member, Susan Helyar, for her efforts on the Committee.
Further information and contact details for our Board, Staff and Reference Committee can be found on the Our people page.
